Frequently Asked Question:
Adding Forms Fields Over Shapes
How can i add form fields to replace lines and rectangles like the form wizard does in Adobe Acrobat?
It's not possible to "replace" the lines and rectangles with form fields (i.e. delete the lines and rectangles and have form fields instead) but you could overlay the lines and rectangles with form fields.
The difficult part of this is detecting where the lines and rectangles are. Quick PDF Library doesn't provide the functionality that would let you do this, however, you could using Quick PDF to render the PDF to an image and then analyze the image to detect the lines and rectangles (it might have to be a pixel by pixel thing) and then use the coordinates that you get from analyzing the image in Quick PDF Library to add form fields to the original PDF.
It's not super simple, but it is possible.
