We've been using QuickPdf for almost a year now with great success up until now. Here's what's happening:

1. We retrieve printer name which happens to be '\S0961011\DOUG-Room 333-32-HP LaserJet P4014 PCL 6'
2. printerpath variable = '\S0961011\DOUG-Room 333-32-HP LaserJet P4014 PCL 6'
3. My next line of code says: printer = pdfLibrary.NewCustomPrinter(printerPath);
   1. now my printer name is : '30ACAB4B2C4513946A7145F1F64160AC'

The value of step 4 changes every time I try to run a report. We have mad no changes whatsoever to our code and we're using the same version of the QuickPdfLibrary.

Please help!

From what you have described I think that it is unlikely that Quick PDF Library is to blame here. If you're using the same version of Quick PDF Library, and you have not changed the code, then it should continue to work as it has previously worked.

The only time Quick PDF Library would stop functioning is if you were using a trial license key in your program and the trial period expired, but since you have been using the library for almost a year, that would not apply to you, as the trial period is only 30 days.

My recommendation is to look at anything else that might have changed in your environment related to printing, as from what you've said, Quick PDF Library has not changed.
