Frequently Asked Question:
Upgrade protection definition
What's the difference between "Standard upgrade protection" and "Premium upgrade protection"? I can't find the answer anywhere.
The difference between Standard Upgrade Protection and Premium Upgrade Protection is outlined below:
Standard Upgrade Protection
The Standard Upgrade Protection option provides you with major version upgrade protection for 60 days. This means that if you purchase Quick PDF Library and then within 60 days we release a new major version of the product, then you will receive a free upgrade.
Premium Upgrade Protection
The Premium Upgrade Protection option provides you with major version upgrade protection for 12 months. This means that if you purchase Quick PDF Library and then within 12 months we release a new major version of the product, you will receive a free upgrade.
In addition, both of these license options entitle you to free minor version upgrades. So for example, if you purchased version 7 of Quick PDF Library, then you're entitled to upgrade for free to any new minor version that we release for that major version (i.e. from 7.12 to 7.19 and so on).
